Robotic packaging cell for high-volume production
We integrated a robotic packaging cell with existing production equipment to improve throughput, consistency, and operator safety.
The challenge
Northstar relied on manual handling at the end of its packaging line. Increasing production volumes were creating bottlenecks, inconsistent cycle times, and unnecessary operator workload.
Our approach
We designed and integrated a robotic handling system around the existing line. The work included robot programming, machine vision, work-cell design, safety controls, and production-line integration.
The result
The new cell increased production capacity while reducing repetitive manual handling. Automated inspection and consistent robot cycles also improved overall line reliability.
